ORGANIZE WITH GRACE | Declutter | Downsize | Move
If you feel overwhelmed by the amount of stuff you own, this podcast is for you. Like you, many people face the challenge of what to do with their accumulated possessions. Then thoughts about someday moving into a smaller place, simplifying our lifestyle, or simply creating more space and order in our environment dance through their minds. But procrastination and indecision keep them feeling paralyzed and frozen. Sound familiar? Take heart, you are not alone. Grace Rehman wants to come alongside you to provide you with bite-sized tips, emotional and mental support, encouragement, and laughter in between the messy middle as you declutter, downsize, and move. Even if you’re not thinking about moving just yet, these episodes will help you gain momentum to decide what to keep and let go. Decluttering and downsizing (she would rather say ”rightsizing”) can feel impossible, but it doesn’t have to be. As your Home Organizer, Grace can help you get started and make the process simpler and more enjoyable.

As a new parent, I sometimes feel I'm living on a deserted island, with no rescue in sight. I survive one tantrum after another while trying to figure out what's for dinner. Can you relate?
Well friend, take a deep breath with me (and exhale!) and know you are not alone, and this interview episode is for you. Tracy Grewe, Infant and Toddler Development Consultant, will help us discover and effectively use our most powerful parenting tool.
Tracy has 20+ years of experience as a Certified Association Montessori International Instructor running a Montessori school. As Chairman of the Board of a non-profit organization for over 20 years, she raised funds to support Montessori education for children. For over 5 years, she has worked with a non-profit organization "Speak Up Stand Up Save a Life" which empowers children to help each other and stand up when they have a friend in need.
Purely out of a passion for helping parents feel more confident and knowledgeable she has shared the teachings of Dr. Maria Montessori along with her personal experiences as a Mother through parent workshops, while also gathering ideas from the parents she worked with. Nurture Newbies was created as a digital resource for parents containing the knowledge she has gathered over the years. Not only is it designed to provide parents tools so they can be a step ahead of their child’s development but more importantly practical ideas to help turn overwhelm into confidence, and allow the parents to consciously support the development of independent and empowered kids.

Do you ever wish you could just press the "Easy Button" to make everyday life, well, EASIER, as a working mom? I do!
Though I don't have this easy button or a magic wand to offer you (and myself), I have an interview with Melissa Salmeron to help you slow down, get grounded, and build good habits to gain more time in your day.
As a Certified Master Life Coach, Melissa helps other moms give themselves the space they need to defeat overwhelm, step into their power, and show up as their true selves through the power of her signature CARE Method:
C - Consciously Connected
Real Connection happens when you are grounded. Connection cannot happen in an overwhelmed state, through the introduction of different life strategies, Melissa will help you determine which are a fit for you.
A - Awareness
Discover how to prioritize life's needs. It's not a time constraint that's been missing in your life. It's about understanding what matters to you. Through the CARE Method, finally let go of the guilt of what you think motherhood is supposed to look like. You'll learn how to communicate your needs so that you can let go of the overwhelm knowing that what you are asking for is for everyone's highest good.
R - Re-energize
Habits
When you have the right habits in place, it's amazing how life suddenly feels easier. You will learn more about which habits serve you and the ones you need to let go of.
Boundaries
You may already realize that boundaries are the ultimate act of kindness and you also may be like I once was and not sure where and how to start putting them in place. Melissa will guide you in how to implement them in your relationships and you will be blown away at the impact this will have on your life.
E - Empowered From Within
Responsibility
It's our job to decide how we respond to life circumstances. Melissa will support you through understanding the role responsibility plays in your life so that you can stop reacting to life and start responding.
Choice
Life is choice. We often feel trapped in our lives thinking that there are no choices, it's just not true, we always have a choice. Melissa will work with you to show you how to make choices that best support you in any situation.

35. Permission to stop delaying your joy and peace (a conversation with Amber Trueblood)
Wednesday Aug 18, 2021
Wednesday Aug 18, 2021
Mama, I see you, sitting on the sidelines, putting everyone else first, yet yearning to know when it will be “my turn” to be happy.
“I will ____ when ____”.
“I will take that dance class when the kids are older.”
Have you uttered a statement like that when talking about something that you are interested in doing for yourself that would give you happiness and joy? I have. Yet, recently, I’m learning that delaying and denying have only led to resentment and overwhelm.
In a world that overloads women with guilt, this conversation with Amber Trueblood is my guilt-free gift to you. My hope is to give you the space to grant yourself the permission to discover what makes you smile and to just do it already!
About my guest, Amber Trueblood:
Amber Trueblood is a licensed therapist, author, podcaster, and mother to four sons. An avid reader and learner, Amber curates courses, workshops, and simple self-care tools for women. Since the 2019 launch of Stretch Marks: A Self-Development Tool for Mothers Who Are Being Stretched in Every Direction, Amber has written and contributed to articles in national publications including O: The Oprah Magazine; Bustle; People; Fatherly; Wedding Wire; MindBodyGreen; Good Housekeeping; and Parade. She’s been featured in L.A. Parent and Times of San Diego and provides regular content for both Motherhood Maternity and MamasUncut. Amber has appeared as a featured expert on television stations such as E! Daily Pop, KTLA, and CBS8. She was recently featured on Good Day LA where she talked about “The Power of Mental Health”.

31. Plant-based diet and meal prep tips for the curious beginner
Tuesday May 11, 2021
Tuesday May 11, 2021
“What’s for dinner???” Does that question make you want to run and hide??? For a non-cook like me, the answer is an emphatic “YES!!!” It’s too easy to go to a nearby drive-thru, which I’ve done more times than I like to admit. But what if it was possible to prepare healthy meals quickly and efficiently?
In this episode, I had a great conversation with Faith VanderMolen, whose simple yet tasty recipes give me so much hope! Also, if you are curious about what it takes to incorporate plant-based foods into your diet or maybe even transition into a plant-based diet, this episode is for you!
Faith has a growing YouTube channel, Conscientious Eating with Faith where she has value-packed and simple how-to videos featuring her delicious and healthy vegan meals. She also has a recipe book available for purchase on Amazon called Plant Biased: 90+ Easy Recipes and Essential Guide for the Plant-Based Beginner.
What I appreciated most about Faith is how she encouraged me that it is possible to prepare healthy meals quickly and efficiently even if you work 40 plus hours a week.
I hope you enjoy this conversation with Faith.
More about Faith:
Faith is first and foremost a wife and mother. For the past six years, she and her husband have lived as ex-pats in various countries throughout Southeast Asia. The challenges associated with living overseas forced her to become creative with her cooking, and thus The Conscientious Eater was born, a place where she shares her passion for healthy, plant-based recipes and food photography. Now with two young kids, her focus has shifted to creating a holistic approach to not only her own diet but that of her entire family.

When you think of prayer, what comes to mind? Definitely not organizing your home, right? So why am I bringing prayer up in a podcast for organizing and decluttering? For me, prayer has been integral and important in my journey into a more organized life. In prayer, I get to quiet my mind and heart. It helps me to center around what’s important in my life. It brings calmness to my day. It produces peace in my heart. For me, helps me face the chaos that happens in life. You may experience prayer in other ways, like meditating. You may have a totally different set of beliefs than me. Do know that you continue to be welcome here, you are seen and you are loved, always! Join me and Sonia Cameron, Author and Career Advisor, as we have a conversation about the impact that prayer can have as you navigate and organize your job search if that is the season you are in. MORE ABOUT SONIA: Sonia is a successful tech support engineer by day and a savvy, self-made author by night. After experiencing her own career hurdles that challenged and strengthened her spiritual growth, she set out to spread what she has learned through writing. First published in 2014 with Christian Devotions, she harnessed good old-fashioned ingenuity and modern tech skills to grow her prayer and career blog to a loyal 2k monthly readership. Because of her website's success, she wrote a book called God Please Help Me Find a Job, launched for kindle purchase on Amazon in 2020.
